What should I expect during the phone interview?

Interviewing

Expect the very best during your phone interview!  Expect for the hiring manager to ask about your previous work history, your skills, shift preference, and your availability.  If the call is successful, you may receive a “Verbal Offer”, but don’t be alarmed if you don’t, some managers prefer to send the offer directly to the agency instead of making a verbal offer during the interview.  If you do receive a verbal offer, please give your Travel Recruiter a call so that he or she can secure the offer as soon as possible.

Congratulations! You are one step closer to your new travel assignment!

Helpful Information: Most phone interviews are conducted by the manager or supervisor of the unit. The phone interviews typically last 10 minutes to 1 hour long. Please make sure that you have time to speak with the manager once you are called. If you are working, sleep, or busy when the Manager calls, please return their call to reschedule the phone interview. Most of the time the manager will leave you a voice message and, in some instances, they will also send you a text message if they can’t reach you. If you are expecting a phone interview, be sure to check your voice & text messages throughout the day as well. This will ensure you connect with the manager in a timely manner.

Managers will move to the next traveler if you can’t be reached so if you are serious about the assignment, please note and apply this information to ensure the process is as smooth as possible. Good Luck and Happy Safe Travels!!
